The Making of a Cake

I've been wanting to do this for a while, and finally had the perfect opportunity.

Last week I was fortunate to be a part of a wonderful event, with 11 other moms; all of us showcasing our home businesses. I prepared two display cakes for the day, and had my good friend Christy, of Christy Joy Photography, document the process. We had a fun two days with four kids running around, and somehow managed to get two gorgeous cakes put together despite making snacks and meals, changing diapers, and even a power outage! Turtle Delight

This cute little creation was done for display at a recent home business show that I had the opportunity to be a part of. It was a show for moms, and all the businesses were represented by moms.

*sigh* I love these little guys:)
