Orchid's & Lace
I love pretty things.
Orchid's and lace piping definitely fall into that category!
This 90th birthday cake included both. Even though I thought I might have to ice my hand after all that piping, I loved making this cake!
Turtles, Snails and Puppy Tails
I did a version of my Turtle Delight cake this weekend for an adorable little girls 3rd birthday. She personally requested this cake, so I absolutely did not want to disappoint!

Stargazer Wedding
I've always hesitated to do a cake without fondant. I like the ease with which fondant provides a smooth, flawless decorating surface.
However, my bride for this cake did not want fondant, and as a result I learned that a simply iced cake can be beautiful too!
